Technology Certification

Timeline

  1. The pilot version of the FLC Technology Certificate Program began in the fall quarter of 2006 with 12 students.
  2. The FLC Technology Certificate requirements must be completed within a period of five quarters from initial enrollment.

General Outline of Procedure

  1. The FLC Technology Certificate's purpose and goals, guidelines, requirements, tutorials, resources, and examples will be available online through the Foreign Language Technology Certification official Web site.
  2. The online component of the certificate will focus on practical applications and skill-building.
  3. A link to the Foreign Language Technology Certification web site will be provided through the GTA Workshop Web site, the Foreign Language Center Web site, and, as available, through each language departments' Web site.
